Fitzgerald Theater

The Fitzgerald Theater holds the distinction of being Saint Paul, Minnesota’s oldest operating theater and serves as the venue for American Public Media’s “Live from Here” broadcasts. Originally constructed as part of a series by the Shubert Theatre Corporation, it was first known as the Sam S. Shubert Theater.

Landmark Center

The Landmark Center in St. Paul, which was finished in 1902, initially functioned as Minnesota’s United States Post Office, Courthouse, and Custom House. Willoughby J. Edbrooke, who held the position of Supervising Architect of the U.S. Treasury Department from 1891 to 1892, was responsible for its design.
